Welcome to the Global Bridge Consulting website (hereinafter, “GBC,” “we,” or “the Site”).
By accessing and using this Site, you declare that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, we ask that you refrain from using the Site.

Global Bridge Consulting is a firm based in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, specializing in:

  • Design of technical and institutional documentation.

The information published on the Site is general and informative in nature.
The specific conditions of each service (scope, deliverables, rates, deadlines, payment method, etc.) are established on a case-by-case basis in:

  • Formal business proposals,
  • Service orders, and/or
  • Contracts signed between GBC and the client.

In the event of any discrepancy between what is published on the Site and what is agreed in a signed contract or proposal, the contractual document shall always prevail.

 

  1. User Responsibility

The user is responsible for:

  • Provide accurate and legitimate information when contacting or requesting services.
  • Use the Site in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
  • Protect your devices and systems against viruses or malicious software.

GBC is not liable for damages resulting from:

  • Misuse of the Site.
  • Technical problems, connection failures, or user hardware/software incompatibilities.

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

GBC makes reasonable efforts to keep the information on the Site up to date and technically secure; however, it does not guarantee:

  • The total absence of errors or omissions in the content.
  • The uninterrupted continuity of the Site's operation.
  • The complete absence of viruses or other harmful elements introduced by third parties.

In no event shall GBC be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Site.

Business decisions made by users based on information from the Site are their sole responsibility. Any formal and binding advice shall be governed by the terms of the contracts entered into.

The processing of personal data that we collect through the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.

By using the Site, you declare that you have read and accepted this Policy.
GBC complies with applicable Colombian personal data protection regulations.

 

  1. Payments, Contracting, and Billing

Currently, the Site does not function as an e-commerce platform nor does it process online payments directly.

Services are contracted through:

  • Direct contact (mail, meetings, forms), and
  • Acceptance of commercial proposals, service orders, or contracts.

These documents shall detail:

  • Prices, applicable taxes, payment methods, and terms.
  • Policy on rescheduling, cancellation, and, where applicable, refunds.

As a general rule, once the service has been accepted and fully or partially performed, no refunds will be given, unless specifically agreed in writing or in the event of an error clearly attributable to GBC.

 

  1. Modifications to the Terms

GBC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The current version will always be the one published on the Site, with its last update date.

Continued use of the Site after any changes implies acceptance of the modified version.

  1. Termination of Access

GBC may suspend access to the Site, in whole or in part, without prior notice, to any user who:

  • Violate these Terms and Conditions.
  • Engage in illegal or fraudulent activities, or activities that affect GBC or third parties.
  • Make abusive or unauthorized use of the Site or its contents.

Termination of access shall not give rise to any right to compensation.

 

  1. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia.
Any dispute related to the use of the Site shall be submitted to the competent judges and courts of Colombia, preferably in the city of Cartagena de Indias, unless otherwise provided by law.
