On September 30, 2025, we accompanied the Corporación Desarrollo y Paz del Canal del Dique y Zona Costera during a working mission with Action Medeor e.V., a German organization founded in 1964 and recognized as Europe’s largest pharmaceutical aid agency. From its headquarters in Tönisvorst, Action Medeor leads programs that ensure access to essential medicines and strengthen health systems in more than 140 countries.
The Colombian delegation was welcomed by Susanne Schmitz, from the Senior Management Team for Anglophone Africa and Latin America, together with Sid Johann Peruvemba, CEO of Action Medeor, and Eveline Stoffel, Program Lead for Colombia and Venezuela.
The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen cooperation between both organizations and promote a strategic dialogue on the sustainability of health and development initiatives currently underway in the Canal del Dique region in Bolívar, Colombia.

As part of the Colombian delegation, Global Bridge Consulting (GBC) played a key role in linguistic interpretation, intercultural support, and strategic advising throughout the conversations between Action Medeor’s team and the Corporation.
