Global Bridge Consulting in Dubai: Innovation, Networking, and Global Reach

GBC consolidates its international presence at Expand North Star & GITEX Global 2025

Global Bridge Consulting’s (GBC) participation in Expand North Star and GITEX Global 2025 — the world’s leading innovation and technology event — marked a significant milestone in its positioning as an internationally oriented consulting firm

From Dubai Harbour, the global epicenter of digital transformation, GBC represented the mission of connecting Latin America with the innovation ecosystems of Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

A strategic presence at the world’s innovation hub

Dubai once again proved why it is known as the “bridge of the 21st century.”

The event gathered more than 2,000 leading companies across sectors such as AI for health, energy and agriculture, biotechnology, educational technology (EdTech), smart mobility, renewable energy, cloud infrastructure, AI-driven talent management, intelligent digital commerce and social-impact innovation.

Immersed in this environment, GBC actively engaged to observe trends, build connections and explore partnerships that will accelerate the expansion of Latin American companies into new global markets.

Reframing Latin America’s narrative

Throughout the networking sessions, GBC identified a key challenge: limited awareness of the potential of Colombia and Latin America within the Gulf and Asian innovation ecosystems.

In response, GBC reaffirmed its purpose: “To be the bridge that connects local talent with global opportunity.” Our role extended beyond participation — it was about representation, connection and positioning.

GBC demonstrated that Latin America does not only export talent, but also innovation, resilience and business vision. The region is ready to integrate competitively into the global economy.

Strategic leadership and corporate expansion

During its visit to the UAE, GBC held an official meeting at the Embassy of Colombia in Abu Dhabi with Dr. Luis Miguel Merlano Hoyos, Ambassador of Colombia to the United Arab Emirates. The meeting reaffirmed the importance of strengthening diplomatic and commercial channels between both regions.

The discussion addressed the internationalization of Colombian companies, investment attraction and bilateral cooperation — laying the groundwork for future joint initiatives aimed at business development and global projection of Colombian talent.

GBC also strengthened ties with representatives from Colombia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and senior leaders from international firms in sectors such as HealthTech, applied AI, renewable energy, smart mobility and higher education — all interested in exploring opportunities with Latin America.

These exchanges reinforced GBC’s positioning as a global firm capable of facilitating business, partnerships and expansion processes across regions, connecting innovation, culture and strategy.

“Dubai reminded us that the future belongs not to those who observe opportunities, but to those who build them. At GBC, we are building them — from Colombia to the world.”
