During the institutional mission to Switzerland, Global Bridge Consulting (GBC) accompanied the Corporación Desarrollo y Paz del Canal del Dique in a meeting with Comundo, a Swiss organization recognized for its work in social justice, environmental sustainability, and cooperation grounded in professional exchange.
The meeting strengthened collaboration between both institutions and opened a dialogue around new approaches to international cooperation centered on ethical communication, training, and sustainability.
A cooperation model evolving with the times
During the session, Comundo presented its cooperation model based on the exchange of professionals (PEZA) and technical accompaniment for local organizations across Latin America and Africa
The discussion explored current priorities of Swiss cooperation and emerging approaches to institutional communication, as well as the financial sustainability challenges NGOs face in today’s global context.
These reflections offered a clear view of how organizations in the Global North are reorienting their work toward more horizontal and collaborative partnerships—grounded in trust, mutual learning, and shared knowledge management.
Global Bridge Consulting’s contribution
During this mission, Global Bridge Consulting played a strategic role in the systematization, technical analysis, and structuring of the learnings from the meeting, transforming them into practical inputs to strengthen collaboration between both institutions.
Drawing on its expertise in international consulting, strategic communication, and organizational management, GBC helped translate the discussions into actionable knowledge—useful for improving cooperation processes and aligning institutional actors.
GBC’s participation also made it possible to identify synergies between European and Latin American cooperation models, offering a practical lens on how to adapt training and communication methodologies to local contexts.
This work reaffirmed GBC’s role as a technical and strategic bridge—capable of integrating an international perspective with local action, and strengthening relationships built on trust, clarity, and results.
